Kokikylas

Kokikylas is a sub-village of Xanthates (Za-tha-tez), of which like most of Corfu; remains completely unspoilt by commercialisation.

Kokikylas has few inhabitants, many of which are farmers and do not speak or understand english.  There are however some local people who work in bars and restaurants in the nearby resorts that can speak english.  There are no shops, hotels, bars or restaurants in Kokikylas itself, although just a few minutes walk up into Xanthates you will find a local bakery, a supermarket (local shop), a taverna, public payphone and a bus stop.
